Brunel Projects were pleased to handle this 36 ton magnet, from its current location to its temporary home 300 miles away. The magnet was in its raw state before being worked on, painted and then exported to its new health facility.
Brunel Projects carried out the jacking up and skating to the outside of the building, it was then lifted via crane and onto the vehicle. The complete operation, was carried out by James Philpott (Project Director) as the appointed person.
The magnet was discharged effectively, finalizing another successful one off move for Brunel Projects.
This was a highly valuable component and any slight damage would render the magnet unusable.
Brunel Projects are looking forward to the next stage and exporting the magnet to the final resting place later this year.
Currently Brunel Projects are handling several smaller magnet projects to the USA, if you have any similar requests, then please contact James Philpott with any questions.
