Brunel Shipping ; (the contractor), are working under extreme pressures due to the current issues within the UK Supply chain and unprecedented volumes of cargo  from the Port of Felixstowe. Business interruptions outside the reasonable control of Brunel Shipping , (the contractor), which are a direct result of the COVID-19 global pandemic, have impacted normal levels of service and have caused supply chain issues which are beyond the reasonable control of Brunel Shipping , (the contractor.)

Customers should be advised that during this time, Brunel Shipping , (the contractor), is experiencing unavoidable delays to its logistics processes and procedures. Current lead-times to fulfil its customers’ requirements  are 14 days from vessel arrival but we endeavour to cover haulage earlier , pls be aware Felixstowe port is suffering with severe congestion which further impacts on collection and delivery- also to note that currently empty containers are not allowed back to port of felixstowe from some carriers and if were required to restuite inland there will be additional haulage fees levied.

Brunel  Shipping , (the contractor), adhere strictly to  BIFA  Terms conditions of  carriage  2010 , and customers should be aware of clause:15; Impossibility of performance; of the BIFA  conditions of carriage, 2010 . “The contractor shall be relieved of its obligations to perform the contract to the extent that the performance thereof is prevented by failure of the customer, fire, weather conditions, industrial dispute, labour disturbances or cause beyond the reasonable control of the contractor.” Clause: 17; Law and jurisdiction; Unless otherwise agreed, in writing, the contract and any dispute arising thereunder shall be governed by English law and shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts alone.
