One of our clients has a critical weekly European express delivery requirement for high value medical equipment. This is collected and delivered with specific timed deliveries on the pick up and drop off points which involves the use of cross docking facilities to speed up final end delivery.
Our client is the biggest supplier to the NHS of mammogram scanning equipment in the UK. Each scanner is worth 1 million pounds and is very fragile and has to be handled with absolute care.

When there is screening to be done in the UK we have to react and deliver this equipment on time every time, there is no room for error.

Every FRIDAY we have a timed collection window of 10.00 am to 12 noon in Hungary where we position our 12 metre trailer every week. We must NOT miss this window so we utilise dedicated vehicle transport to make sure there is door to door delivery with full track and trace capabilities.
We then have 6 days to deliver into a timed window slot of 11 am to 2.00 pm in Banbury, Oxfordshire direct to our client’s warehouse where another trailer is waiting to take them same day express to the NHS Hospital that has ordered them.
This requires us to organise a dedicated cross docking solution and facilities.
